Profine® Gold eliminates unwanted odors and flavors, reduces chlorine, and has a nominal filtration rating of 0.1 micron. A cartridge with a very high degree of filtration that contains and maximizes the advantages of the Profine® Carbon Block system added with silver combined with an ultrafiltration stage capable of preventing the passage of more than 99.99999% of bacteria.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Disposable quick-attach cartridge, with filtration using "Profine® Carbon Block" technology added with silver ions and final ultrafiltration stage with hollow fiber; filtration degree 0.1 ?m. Activated carbon filter for dechlorination and clarification of drinking water. Filtration allows the reduction of chlorine content, organic compounds and unpleasant odors/tastes from the water. Thanks to the presence of silver ions, the antibacterial action downstream of the treatment system is guaranteed. Furthermore, ultra filtration prevents the passage of more than 99.9999% of bacteria and viruses. Profine® Gold has been certified by the TIFQ LAB, and fully meets the high quality standards required by Italian legislation regarding drinking water treatment plants, with particular reference to Ministerial Decree 25/2012. The laboratory tests were conducted simulating domestic use, consequently also referring to long periods of system inactivity. For this information, it is possible to consult the report from the reference laboratory, which highlights the qualitative data that allowed the Gold cartridge to obtain certification under Ministerial Decree 25/2012.
USE
Filtration stage for domestic drinking water treatment systems.
INSTALLATION
Bayonet connection for Profine® and similar heads. Vertical or horizontal installation with the aid of cartridge support clips. Before removing the filter cartridge, close the water inlet and eliminate the pressure in the circuit by opening the downstream tap. Rotate the spent cartridge 90° clockwise, then remove the cartridge from the head. Insert the new cartridge, after having removed the protective cap, and rotate it 90° anti-clockwise. Open the inlet valve and supply water to the drain to activate the new cartridge for at least 5 minutes. After periods of short periods of non-use, let the water flow before removing it for drinking use. In case of prolonged non-use, disinfect the system.

REPLACEMENT
We recommend replacing the cartridge at the end of its nominal autonomy, or if the output flow is too slow. In any case, the cartridge must be replaced within 365 days of its installation. Before removing the filter cartridge, close the upstream water inlet and eliminate the pressure in the circuit by opening the sampling tap. To activate the cartridge correctly, open the inlet valve and dispense for at least five minutes before removing it to drink.

DISPOSAL Dispose of the used cartridge according to Decision 2014/955/EU (CER 15 02 03).
