SENTINEL 1 LT SEALANT FOR SMALL WATER LEAKS FOR HEATING SYSTEMSentinel Liquid Sealant is a quick and easy solution to seal small leaks and leaks that are not perfectly sealed and do not need immediate repair.
Ready for use, it quickly enters the system water, where it forms a non-rigid seal, usually within 24 hours, although the time may vary depending on the type of leak and the temperature. It is suitable for all types of heating systems and compatible with all types of metals, including aluminum, and plastic materials and with the other Sentinel additives found in the system.
One liter of Sentinel Liquid Sealant is sufficient to treat 100 liters of water, corresponding to an average autonomous system of up to 10 radiators.
For larger systems, or if the first dose proves insufficient to remedy the problem, it is recommended to use two liters of product. Once the dosage has been completed, operate the system normally for at least 15 minutes; hot water promotes the seal formation process.
Open systems: dose the product through the expansion tank (sufficient discharge is required from a low point, to guarantee the entry of all the product into the circulating section of the system) or from an easily accessible point.
Closed systems: if the system is empty, add the product at any convenient point, before filling the system. If the system is full, eliminate a corresponding volume of water before introducing the product through a radiator or other access point.
