Biotex® refractory mats are manufactured with long Biotex® fibers. The mats have excellent high temperature insulation characteristics, excellent thermal stability and maintain a soft fibrous structure up to their classification temperature. The mats are needled on both sides and have excellent tensile strength both before and after heating. They are free from any binder and therefore do not emit fumes or odors during the rise in temperature. The main advantages are flexibility and ease of cutting and installation.
