The electric actuator is used for the automatic opening/closing of radiator valves, manifolds and fan coil valves. The heads are controlled via a room thermostat positioned in each room which, depending on the request, opens or closes the heating/cooling circuit.
In the version with microswitch (4 wires) a normally closed contact (NC) is provided, with the actuator not powered, with a maximum applicable load of 700 mA inductive and 3A resistive.
The electrical supply voltage is 230 V.
OPERATION:
When the actuator is mounted on the valve body, its shutter closes the flow passage.
When voltage is applied, a linear movement of the thermostatic element and consequently of the valve obturator which allows the flow to pass occurs.
Removing the power causes the shutter to close again.
ASSEMBLY:
1. Remove any protective cap or handwheel from the valve
2. Manually screw the actuator ring nut onto the valve body thread, locking it
3. Electrically connect the wires to the electrical system
